Hi, I have added tags to some of my contacts so I can send the relevant newsletter in the relevant language. However when I go to Schedule and the various lists of contacts to choose from comes up, at the bottom righ thand corner of that dialog box, I should have "Narrow by tags" as per the tutorial. But there is no "narrow by tags". Is there something I must do to have it appear?
Thank you for posting your question in the Community! I had a look into the account and it appears that all the emails created were with the same template style. Each should have the option on the scheduling page as you referenced. The narrow by tag option would not appear when selecting lists for a Welcome email nor Autoresponder emails. Could you please send us an email to social_support(at)constantcontact(dot)com with the title of the email campaign where the tag option was not available, referencing this post? We'd love to take a closer look!
Hello @PacificAirshow. I'm sorry that you were having trouble trying to narrow by tag but you were able to do this using a different browser. Please let us know if there is anything else that we can assist you with.
Hello @PacificAirshow. It's possible that you may have a plugin or extension in Chrome that was causing you to not see the narrow by tag feature and that's why a different browser would work for you. Did you try using an incognito window in Chrome? Here is more information on how to disable any plugins or extensions that could be causing issues when you are working in Constant Contact.
Thank you all for you very appreciated replies. I now know why. If you are using the free version of Constant Contact, you do not have the tag option. That's all. i just wanted to see how it worked before I took the payment option. Which I now have and the tags do appear.

Have created tags for specific lists but when it's time to schedule an email, the option to narrow the list down to specific tag is not visible/applicable. Could you please advise what is the resolution to this?
Does it matter that the email we are trying to resend is the GDPR template one?

To better investigate why you are currently not seeing that option when you go to schedule, there is some information we would like to gather:
- The username to your Constant Contact account
- The email you are trying to schedule

I am using a purchased template. In the Select Recipients, I select email list. The option to narrow by tag does not appear. How can I send an email using tags?
Thanks for reaching out and we're sorry for any confusion about how to filter a list by tags when scheduling an email campaign. This function currently isn't available in accounts with more than 10,000 contacts. We understand how helpful this would be and we're collecting customer feedback for our programmers about it. In the meantime, you can simply just create an email list from your tags and schedule/send your email to a list rather than a tag. We apologize for any inconvenience!
Thank you for getting back to me. Why would this feature be changed now? In the past, I have always used tags to send my email blasts. It seems like more features have been removed lately.
I'm sorry for the confusion and do understand why it would be helpful to narrow by tag especially with over 10,000 contacts. After reviewing your account, we can confirm that this wasn't a recent change, however it may appear this way since you were using our prior editor. Due to account limitations, this is currently unavailable.
We will certainly pass along your feedback for our engineers to continue to look into.
In the meantime, you are more than welcome to add your tagged contacts to a list directly as Nichelle mentioned. As an alternative, you are more than welcome to decrease your bounces which can reduce your contacts back under 10,000. This will restore this feature.
We're currently revamping this into a new segments feature which should provide some additional flexibility. You should see some expanded functionality with the segments feature coming very soon!
Does the Google Analytics no longer work with the new editor? It is rather disappointing due to the change in editors we lose a lot of functionality. It is hard to justify using your product when a lot of the functionality is no longer there.
You are able to include Google Analytics for campaigns created in our third-generation editor by following the steps listed in this Knowledge Base article here. I’m sorry if you feel any disappointment about certain features that might not be included in our newest editor. May I ask what features(such as narrow by tag which you had previously mentioned) you were looking to be included? We are constantly making updates and improvements to this editor and I would be happy to send over your feedback to our Product team for review.
