Hello @KoriS74,

Thank you for reaching out to the Constant Contact Community. It's my pleasure to assist you today. Most Constant Contact templates are about 600 pixels wide, so we recommend keeping the width of your images to no more than 600-650 pixels. Keep in mind that the 600 pixel recommendation is for an image that spans the width of the email. Check out the table below for recommendations on sizing images for a multi-column layout.

What is the recommended image size for my image?

  Height Width
Header Image
  • Less than 200 pixels will fully display in email preview panes.
  • 600 pixels
  • Smaller widths will stretch your image to fit the header and larger widths will stretch your email header and distort your email.
One-column Template *See note below
  • 600 pixels or less
Two-column Template *See note below
  • 250 pixels or less
Three-column Template *See note below
  • 150 pixels or less
Event Landing Page *See note below
  • 800 pixels wide by 150 pixels high is recommended
Event Registration Page *See note below
  • 800 pixels wide by 150 pixels high is recommended

*There usually isn't an ideal height because each block will adjust to fit the image's height. However, keep in mind that very large images may cause scrolling and some clients, like Outlook, may crop images that are more than 1728 pixels in height.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you. Thank you for choosing Constant Contact and have a wonderful day!
