I have over 3500 contacts in my main list.
I've gone through my past 8 months of email campaigns and found those who haven't opened any emails in that time.
I created a .csv file with those names and emails, outside of CC.
I want to delete all those names (1300) from my contact database.
How do I do that without clicking on each one individually?
I think I've figured it out. I need to export the list with all my contacts. Then I need to use Excel to compare that list to the list of those who haven't opened emails, and only keep the ones who show up in the main list. I can then bring that list back in to CC and use it going forward instead of the list I'd been using.
While you can do this manual process you described, there is an easier way in your account already. Have you tried using our segments tool?
This is where you can create a segment of contacts who did not open an email in the last 160 days. Once you find these contacts you can add them into a new and separate list to delete under your Contacts tab.
