New Editor - Forward Emails, Table of Contents Features

I recently upgraded my org's e-newsletter template to the latest editor and there are a few items missing that I was wondering about ...

1. ability to add a forward to friend in emails

I've seen some threads in this in which it seems a fix is currently being worked on (as of February 2021).

Is there a way we can receive an update when that change is finally made live?

2. Anchor Links

I know that the latest editor doesn't allow for these and I have seen the reasons why.

But is there any way to create links within the Table of Contents I have set up for my e-newsletter?

I'm guessing from the chats on this (eg. Table of Contents block; Why you shouldn't use anchor links) that there is currently no alternative, but could one be considered for those of us who have an e-subscriber audience that appreciates such a feature?

Hello @pfocazio, While the former forward to a friend is not available in the third generation editor, it will be available in our Cross Device editor, under the social share block. Cross Device Editor     Forward to a Friend

The Read More feature is a good alternative option, and can help drive traffic to your site. Read More block Thank you

Thanks for the info.

Last week, I worked with technicians at Constant Contact to upgrade our design template from second to third generation.

So, if I wanted to take advantage of the Cross Device Editor features it seems I would again have to upgrade our template, right?

It's been a bit of a process just to get to third generation editor status ... from what I read about Cross Device Editor, it will eventually over-take third generation. Should we again upgrade the template? It seems this may be the only option to get the "Forward to Friend" and other enhancements for our current third generation template.
