Our company has a very long LEGAL name and we often shorten it when answering the phone or using it in general conversation. We display the full legal name at the top of each Constant Contact email campaign, but often use the shortened version in the body of the email. Are there any legal reasons why this is not appropriate? Such as...there could be another company with that name? Our address and phone number is always displayed to make sure customers know where we are located. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks, Julie

Hello @Enviro-USA ,
From my rudimentary understanding, there shouldn't be any issue with using a simple abbreviation, at least from a Compliance standpoint. With that said, if you want to be absolutely sure, we'd encourage asking your own legal counsel, or you can also potentially reach out to our legal team [ legal(at)constantcontact(dot)com ] if you're at all worried about it affecting you using our system.
