Is there any way to override the outlook dark mode so my emails don't turn black? I can't make every logo a PNG/transparent background as some of the logos have black lettering. I also can't change the background color to "white" or #FFFFFF - the code in outlook changes it to black automatically. Any ideas?
Outlook alters colors in the email for dark mode and ignores the actual colors of the email. Due to dark mode being set on the receivers end, we do not have the ability to override these settings and the recipient would need to make the changes on their end.
I can understand how important it is for your email to display properly! I apologize you're having this experience with your Outlook Dark Mode. As you stated, Outlook alters colors in the email for dark mode and, like he said, ignoring the actual colors of the email. I apologize the only way around this would to insert your email as screenshots in your template rather than text. Dark mode doesn't change the colors of images, so having these screenshots will allow it display properly.

Outside of the potential within the custom code editor, Outlook (and lots of other email clients) will almost always override background colors to try to ensure a device's "dark mode" is complied with. Our engineers are currently looking into ways for emails to display with original background coloring, that work with different devices' dark modes ranging from mobile to desktop variants.
Any updates on this? I feel like the only way to enforce our designs in the email would be by doing graphic-only messages - which definitely hurts us with recipients who don't set our emails to display graphics.

Dark mode is dependent on the receiving end, so at this time we don't have a way to prevent emails from being affected by the recipients' dark/light mode settings.
We need a solution to this problem ASAP, and not only for outlook, but the wrong color rendition also happens on Gmail when dark mode is selected.

This seems to be a really significant deal, as gmail's app has it set by default and a lot of people use that. The only solution right now is to do one big image, which may get caught in spam folders.
There's got to be a better solution. What does your competition do to avoid this issue, and can you implement that?
Over 2 years and the crew at constant contact hasn't been able to figure this out. Anybody have recommendations on other email clients that are more responsive to issues?
