What THE HELL is going on with the PayPal connections for events???? Nothing but an undisclosed hassle. Please advise. I've had my PayPal connected to my account for YEARS and suddenly I'm getting a bunch of inappropriate annoying QUESTIONS with a pressed option of we pay. PLEASE EXPLAIN. . (why do tech companies make something that is intuitive and easy to follow suddenly INVASIVE?????? Like why do you need to know my business benefactors? What the heck do you care? You get your money?!). Not happy..... just trying to set up an even that I already pay $45.00 a month for.

Recent changes to PayPal's system has resulted in the API setup between the event system and theirs for payment processing to have some complications, which our devs are investigating at this time. These questions are being asked by PayPal, not us. You'll need to go through those questions in order to utilize your PayPal with the event system for payment processing. Please not that we've so far only seen this occur in copied events, but not newly made events, so you may wish to build your event from scratch if you don't want to deal with this particular issue. If this occurred with a newly created event, please let us know so we can make sure our info on the issue is updated accordingly.
Chat support already tracked the issue for your account, and submitted it to the engineers for further review. If and when there's an update to the issue, you'll be notified directly via email by them.
This is still an issue. I'm not sure why the event program DOES NOT WORK anymore. PayPal gives me nothing but hassle. I am able to use the PayPal portal for my online store and other ways using my online store. I have a PayPal account, I have for years. I loved using the event feature but will need to limp around it until it is resolved. Please go back to the way it was! It was awesome. I'm bumming! Thanks for listening. Robyn

This is happening to our events as well - nothing changed in our paypal account from our december meeting where paypal worked fine to our january meeting where it won't work at all.
It is not just copied events. I created a new event and it does not connect. We are really in a bind not being able to use paypal for payments now when we have big events starting. This has a huge impact for us and everyone is looking to me for a resolution.
You can get an answer on the issue from anyone. Our paypal accounts seems just fine. there are no messages when we log in that we need to revise or update our accounts...
