Posting to Social Media

First our newsletter didn't post at all to FB. Then it posted three times (I probably tried three times). So I deleted two but all three were deleted. Now I'm trying to get it back on FB once but absolutely no luck yet. Why is this so freaking hard? Thank you.

Hi @ReneeM48 ,

Sorry that you were running into that! I do see that you did manage to get your post onto Facebook. It looks like it posted a few other times as well. We can't troubleshoot those posts since they were already deleted off Facebook's end, but it's worth noting a few things. First, the post will not post to Facebook until after the campaign has been sent out. Also, it can take between 5-10 minutes after you schedule the social post for it to actually be posted, so you will want to allow for that time before you try making another post.

I would advise, if you run into this again in the future, giving us a call right away at 866-289-2101 for live, 1:1 troubleshooting and support. That way, we will be able to see real-time if there is an issue with the social posts feature.

Well, now it's April instead of March and the exact same thing is happening. I'm extremely unhappy with CC's customer service.  I'm not reposting again either.  It just isn't there even over an hour later. Why?  I called the number you said call right away -- but instead of a person I get a machine that immediately asks for a phone number associated with this account. Well, I don't have a clue what that is.  I'm just the Newsletter person. For a rather big organization, I don't see why a simple link to Midwest Boston Terrier Rescue's FB page is so impossible.  (I do similar work for the public library which links to their page immediately -- of course, they don't use CC either. And truly I wouldn't recommend it.)  So I've got no customer support and the exact same problem as last month.

And my name isn't Renee.  What the heck.

Hello @ReneeM48,

I do apologize that you are having this experience. I do recommend disconnecting your account and reconnecting and attempting to post again. It sounds like the connection may need to be re-established in order to work properly. We are currently not open today but we are open tomorrow for phone support. You can also change your Community Screen name by selecting My Account under your name in the top right hand corner of your screen. Thanks!
