Re: Error in Universal Code on Sign-up forms

Today (Sunday - which is a whole other issue - why is there no live person support on Sunday??) Anyway, I was sending my email when I had a pop up form saying I could now create a pop up form to embed in my emails. So I stopped the sending and tried to embed the code into my email. Then I sent a test email. The email showed the code, not the form. The help forum was no help. The instructions with the form were confusing and not clear. Embed the code where? how? This is very, very frustrating.

Hello @RainerH,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I know I have responded through another thread but I will respond here just in case as well.

I do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we can not embed sign up forms inside of an email. The inline form was designed to be embedded in your website. If you want a sign up form in your email, you will want to create a landing page because once that is activated you can use the link it gives you instead of an embedded code. You can then place the link inside your email. Thanks!
