I've been having the same issue since Sept. 3rd! I can't seem to find a solution anywhere.
I have a contact who unsubscribed accidentally and would like re resubscribe. I sent the resubscription email and they have never received the email- even made sure they checked their spam/junk folder. No email. They are marked as awaiting confirmation and there is nothing I can do.
I would like to know how to resolve the issue ASAP please!!!!!
I apologize your contact has not received this resubscribe email! Have you tried trigger this opt-in through one of your sign-up forms? Having your contact sign-up through your form will trigger an update profile email they can resubscribe through. Though being able to send the resubscribe email more than once is not an available feature, you can also follow these steps as a second workaround:
1. Enable advanced permissions under My Settings
2. Go to the Contacts Page
3. Select Add Contacts
4. Select add Unsubscribed from file
5. Upload the file of unsubscribes
6. Open the affected contact profile
7. Click the Resubscribe button and follow flow there
