Redirecting to my Thank You page with standard embedded Sign-Up form?

Hi all, I just setup my CC account, and am loving the platform. I created a standard Sign-Up form that I embedded into my website, however, when someone fills out the required info and clicks "Sign Up" they are simply redirected to the same page, but without all of the Signup Fields. This is confusing to the user as they may not really know what just happened - whether the form worked, or what.

Is there a way to have the user be directed to a specific page once they click "Sign Up"? Ideally a page within my page that just says "Thank you for signing up, you should be receiving a confirmation email in your inbox".

Thanks in advance!

Hi all. With the introduction of our Lead Generation Landing Pages, the "Thank You" page can be customized to include a button with a redirect URL. At this time, inline and pop-up forms do not have this functionality. If you wish to see this functionality, please vote or comment on this post on our Feedback boards. Though we do not have a time estimate if a feature like this will be available in the product, any updates will be posted there, not on this post. Voting and commenting on the linked post above helps to influence future product decisions and allows you to be notified of replies from our teams.

It's 2021. This is a standard feature for email sign up forms. Why is this still not implemented?

Please, PLEASE sort this out. What an oversight - and people have clearly been asking for years...

Hi @Dartington

The good news is our new landing pages do offer the ability to both edit the thank you page and add a re-direct link to it as well. Does this help fit your needs?

This is not helpful! We want to be able to embed a form on our website, say in the footer of the site, for newsletter signups and be able to redirect those that sign up to our own thank you page.

Hi @SusanF685,

Just to clarify the thank you page you want to redirect to from the point they sign-up is an independent page outside of Constant Contact that you've assembled yourself?

Yes, that's correct. I want the sign up form on my website and when the user enters their info into the form, they are immediately directed to a thank you page on my website.

Great - thank you for clarifying. At this time the redirect feature is only available for the sign up Landing Pages which cannot be embedded. I do see what you mean about this also being a feature that would be useful for the embedded/inline sign up forms. We have re-opened a previous feedback thread on this topic to reflect the need for more customizations to the thank you pages of embedded forms. Feel free to vote on the linked topic and we will provide any future updates in that thread.
