Our compliance team is suggesting that Constant Contact does not meet the archiving standards to be SEC Complaint which requires 5 years of detailed campaign distribution info. The compliance director referenced the Constant Contact Knowledge Base link below:

https://knowledgebase.constantcontact.com/articles/KnowledgeBase/6205-how-long-is-reporting-data-sav...

However, when I login to our company's Constant Contact database - all of our information is stored for longer than 5 years (since the inception of our CC usage).

Can someone please let me know if the 3 years quoted in the Knowledge Base is correct or incorrect? I would think Constant Contact would want to meet the needs of any organization that required 5 years of storage for SEC requirements.

Hello @DanD6347 ,

If you have questions regarding legal elements, I'd recommend speaking with our legal team - legal(at)constantcontact(dot)com .

You can still export contact data for emails from further back than 3 years ago, which I was able to confirm by testing in your account:
