When I used the Product block in an email the image did not download when the email was sent, though it was there when I previewed the email. I saw it in multiple email address inboxes and it is not downloading the product images, so it's not an Outlook problem - this was happening in Gmail and other mail services as well.
This is very frustrating because this is the main reason I'm using CC as an integrated product - so that I can showcase the products and make them clickable. Does anyone know why this is happening?
Thanks

Hello @DebS,
I do apologize for this experience! You are correct that some email clients are unable to click on the images for items to purchase when using the Shopify block. The workaround until this is fixed is too make sure the buy now button(s) are visible in the email so that contacts/customers can click that instead. Again, I do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused!
It's not that they can't click on them - they can't even see them. The image does not download at all. This ruins the email because they don't see the product at all. Why does this happen?
Hello @DebS,
I have went ahead and submitted your feedback on this to the proper team, and our engineers are currently looking for a fix. Something that may help for all images is to Safelist Constant Contact. The images may not be appearing only on your end, as I can see them on mine.
Obviously I had safelisted my own email address in my alternate email where I get the marketing emails so that I see them when I send them out, yet I still can not see the images. This is the 2nd time this has happened, and I got feedback from my customers that it happened to them as well. That's why I preview the email several times before sending, but it looked fine in the preview.
and How can I fix it so it does not happen again?
Hello @DebS,
We are currently working on a fix, and I have submitted our feedback so you will be notified when we have one! Thank you.
