I use a lot of images in my newsletters and want people to be able to learn a few lines of text about an image by clicking or (ideally) hovering over it. Is there something clever that would allow that to happen? For instance pack my information into the image filename and have that pop up when hovering? A text box would be ideal. Even clicking through to a pdf file would be ok but that doesn't seem to be working, at least in my test emails. Any ideas appreciated.
Spoke with Customer Service this morning and they looked pretty hard but the answer is there is nothing now. He liked the idea, though, and has put it into the hopper for possible future consideration.
I'm happy to hear you were able to get in contact with our support about this! Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist with in the meantime.
I notice this topic was last discussed and the idea "put into the hopper" almost 2 years ago. I am currently also trying to do this with info displaying when you hover over images. Has it come to fruition?
You can add a small bit of text through an image's Alt Text. However if you need a lot of characters or special characters, it'd be better to use a caption under the image, or have the image link to a separate webpage with more info.
