Standard contact headings for file import

When importing a file of contacts can they also be assigned to a List?  If so, how is that done?

I assume the List would need to be created prior to the import.

All imported contacts must be added to a list. You can create the list before importing, or during the import process. Please check out the linked help article below for more information and some helpful screenshots.
