It seems that there should be a option on the event registration page that allows me to send a survey to my event registrants after the event?
Right now I have to create a survey from a totally different page and then create a group with only the registrants so only they get the survey and not my entire contact list.
Anyone else find that it would be helpful to have an option to send a survey to only those who attended an event?

Hello @MikialaL,
Thank you for reaching out to the Constant Contact Community. That is a great idea and I'm going to submit your suggestion to our developers. Thank you so much for submitting your feedback to have a survey option integrated directly within our event tool.
Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you. Thank you for choosing Constant Contact.

Thank you. I very much appreciate it.

To add to the above request, we wish to send a survey to our event participants AND then when they complete it fully, they automatically (autoreply or?) receive a certificate (pdf/form) with their name already filled in and other event details like name and date of event or similar.
Hello @RVCOES,
If your survey includes a personal information section, you can have those who fill out the survey be added to a specific list of your choice. Then you could assign an auto-responder email to that same list, which would allow you to send an automated email. Inside that automated email you could even include the contact details, such as a greeting, or contact details.
We don't have a method of creating a PDF or other certificate outside of the email templates available at this time. I'll definitely add that as a feature request as well!
HI, any update or progress on this possibility?
Would still like to be able to send customized (attendee name) certificate after they complete a survey.
Hello @RVCOES
Thanks for reaching out for an update on this! At this time, we don't have an update just yet.
Have a great day!
Year and a half later, any update to this request?
Hi @AngieM4
I apologize the option to send a survey to your event registrants is not an embedded option in these event emails. I can however see you also reached out about this in another section of the Community as well. We have provided a workaround under this post that allows you to avoid using a Survey Campaign. Please let us know if this helps!
3 years and running, still nothing. If you are not working on it, just say that instead of leaving us open ended saying that you are working on it. Obviously isn't true.
The newer event system is still in development.
Ok- Is there a timeline? Expected release date? People have been complaining about the event system for years, and every time the reply is "we're working on it" and that's if we even get a reply. This forum is full of event issues that are 5 or more years old that were never even addressed or they were just followed up with "we're working on it" and years later, nothing. We've moved on to another platform for survey's and event campaigns because it's so bad and we got tired of zero communication on timeline and we do hundreds of events a year.
Up until late 2019/early 2020, the plan had been to continue integrating with another company that was purely focused on Events. Since their focuses shifted, our devs began developing a new events system to replace the one currently available. These kinds of large product releases take time to develop and release, even in beta form. At this time we do not have a hard ETA on the release of the newer system.
Appreciate the quick reply and background info. Really doesn't address the 4-5 years leading up to 2019/2020 when an update was needed and voiced by your users and support said you were working on it back then and nothing was done. Also, Ive owned and run software companies- You don't plan and develop products or updates without an expected or even hopeful goal for a release date. So in the end it's the usual CC answer- "We're working on it" . Makes sense given the history- Hence why we have mostly switched away from this platform. Just thought I check back in on the progress (or lack there of). I don't blame you William, just voicing frustration with your company leadership.
