Why does text in the third generation templates display smaller than in the legacy template? Issue occurs in both the editor, and in the actual message.
Using 3rd gen template, font was set to Arial 11 in the editor. In actual email, this displays as Arial 8.5.
Attached image shows comparison of legacy template (left) and 3rdgen template (right). In both editors, text was set to Arial 11. Both messages are at 100% zoom. Overall width of gen3 text area is narrower as well.
Hello @BoschSecurity,
Thank you for reaching out about the difference between font sizes in the Third Generation editor, versus our Legacy editor. The Third Generation editor uses PX (pixel) which is common for digital, whereas our previous editor uses PT (point) which is common for print. You will see a noticeable difference between 11px versus 11pt font, so you may want to make your text slightly larger when creating an email in the Third Generation editor.
If you have any additional questions about this, please let us know!
I create a beautiful message to send out and when it arrives, more than half the message is taken up by the background color, and the message area is shrunk to the point that it is hard to read. I have a poster in my message, and it shrinks to the point it is unreadable. How can I increase the size of the message area and decrease the size of the background so it looks like the message I create?
Hello @SDSwedes,
The email you send out should look like the what you created in the editor. Can you tell me the name of the Campaign where the background stretched and the images were shrunk? I would like to help you find out why this did not come out correctly.
