I would assume, like all other contact programs that the unsubscriber has the choice to say why they unsubscribed but I can't seem to find that information. Do we as Constant Contact clients not get access to that information?
That's a great question! The good news is you do have access to view reasons a contact has unsubscribed. This information can be found through your campaign's Unsubscribed report. Clicking the hyperlinked number in the Unsubscribe Rate column will open to the list of these contacts and any comments/reason they gave for unsubscribing.
This feature seems to have become optional in late 2020. I was checking our account to see if users had given a particular reason for unsubscribing and I see there haven't been any comments since August. Now I see in the footer options that it's toggled off.
