Unsubscribed

I want to pull all Unsubscribes (4K) from our active list (16K) to a new "Unsubscribed List" and am not sure how to do this. I don't want to delete all Unsubscribes as we would like to keep this history. However, when sending a campaign, I want this to be all Active emails without any Unsubscribes included - is this possible?

Unsubscribed contacts can't be added to lists as a basic functionality of preventing accidental sendouts. If you ever need to export or view your unsubscribes, you can do so from the Contacts subtab with the contact type dropdown set to Unsubscribed.
