Updating the Pay Status for a registrant

We used a Discount Code when recording the registration for some individuals on an Event. The pay status then displayed 'Not Applicable'. We received payment and now I want to update that status but I am unable to do any kind of update the pay status. Any advice?

If the discount code made the cost of the event free, rather than have an associated cost, then yes it'll show as "not applicable" for payment status.

Hello @SharonG746 ,

 

If the event is already marked as Ended / Cancelled, then you won't be able to edit the statuses of any registrants from within the program. Your next best option would be to export the event report then manually edit the applicable registrants' payment statuses in your preferred spreadsheet program.

Thank you for your reply.  The event is still open so I can export the report as you indicated but I have a follow-up question.  Would the use of the Discount Code affect the ability to update the payment status?  Is that why the status shows as 'Not Applicable' as opposed to the 'Pending' status?
