Use the Store feature in Constant Contact Web Builder as an Inventory Tool

Hello –

I'm wondering if there is a way to use the store feature as an inventory tool.

I would like to eliminate having to add the pricing information while setting up the store and editing the customer required fields.

I have CSRs who receive requests from our dealers for literature and I would like to be able to track where it is going, what piece of literature is being sent out and to who. All this while keeping track of the inventory count. We do not need to have all of the check out required fields and I would like to edit these. I have been able to do this set-up to a certain degree, but there are some snags I am running into. I have some web dev schooling and I can do some coding if need be. I need a bit of a starting point to go about this.

Thank you for any recommendations you can offer and thank you for your time.

Hello @MarletteJ ,

After speaking with the Website Builder team, there isn't really a way to make anything you're wanting to setup work in the Online Store system. You could set some of your items to free for their costs to cover some of the inventory and costs elements, but then technically anyone could just come in and "order" one at any time.

If you have further questions, I'd recommend speaking with WSB support directly.

Thank you for your response. Anyone could come in and order, but they wouldn't get anything shipped to them. I want the CSRs to come in and order what they are shipping out to our dealers. I just don't want for them to have to fill out all the required fields you have on your form. I'm okay setting everything to FREE.
