We have very specific new company guidelines and need all of our communications to include Gotham Rounded Book font. While we have the font installed on all of our computers, the option to use it in Constant Contact does not exist.
I tried to look for solutions but I could only find the html option which doesn't exist at all in my CC, or plugging the text in as jpg which is not a very good solution for us.
Please can you assist with this matter as soon as possible. Much appreciated.
Thank you for bringing your question to the Community!
I see that you were able to get a hold of our support team in regards to your inquiry. That said, I wanted to let you know that the only way you would be able to use that font is if you created your email using our advanced editor. Basically what this means is that you would have to create the email using your own HTML code. Further, "Gotham Rounded Book" is not considered a web safe font and therefore would likely not display on most email clients. I apologize for the inconvenience. In the meantime I would like to share a support article with you that goes over web safe fonts. Please Click Here for that article.
I sure do hope that this helps to explain but please let us know if you have additional questions. Thank you for using Constant Contact, have a great day!
It would be extremely impractical to always have to do html for our most basic eblasts, not to mention that I am not really used to working in html.
I think that unfortunately we might have to just go with a different company, but in the meanwhile, could you recommend the closest font to Gotham Round that you have as an option?
In addition - when I am working from my Mac, for some reason my font choice is even more restricted to only about 6 fonts, what could be causing this?
Thank you for getting back to us.
I apologize that we do not have the Gotham Rounded Book font available as an option. Unfortunately Gotham Rounded Book is not a web safe font. That said, I would say that the closest alternative that we have available is either Century Gothic or Franklin Gothic Medium.
That is odd that you are only seeing 6 options on that computer. I'm thinking that this issue may be browser related. Do you have a different web browser on that computer that you could try using? If not, please try using a private browsing window to see if that helps.
Again, I apologize for the inconvenience. Please let us know if you have additional questions and have a great rest of your day!
