Welcome email issue


Welcome email issue

I have an opt in form on my WP site. When testing it with my own gmail account I get a conformation email from WP stating I just got the new contact, The email address shows up and is added to my contacts on the Contact website, but the "welcome" email is not sent out/received. The issue must be with CC, because the new contact is making it to my contact list.


I really can't move on with anything else until this issue is resolved. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry for the issue with your Welcome Email not sending. I know it's important for this email to go out so your contacts are getting the proper welcome. I have taken a look at your account and everything looks good with the setup. One thing that often happens is if you test it with an email address that has already been in the account, the email will not trigger. It's only brand new contacts. If this is not the case, can you please send us an email to social_support(at)constantcontact(dot)com with a reference to this post, your username, the email addresses that you have tested the Welcome Email with, and any other information you think is appropriate? We will be happy to take a look and get some resolution.
