When someone receives an email and views it from the reading pane of their email client, without clicking on it, does this count as an "Opened"?

Hello @SteveC907 ,

Opens are tracked based on a 1x1 pixel transparent image inserted automatically on all email campaigns. If the recipient's "reading pane" doesn't allow images to download / show, then the open won't be able to be tracked.

Thank you for the prompt reply. That explains why some of my customers tell me they saw my email but my campaign shows that they never opened it.
