Is there something going on with your site? It's gotten SO slow. I have been using Constant Contact for years and this problem started occurring within the last 4 months. It times out and is very very slow. I have had to start over so many times...it won't "save" and I get a "connectivity error" and then have to start all over again IF I can get the site to move. I sign out and sign back in and keep on trying. It's getting very frustrating. Is there something new going on with the site that we should know of? Is there a staff shortage? And yes...I have tried 3 different browsers with the same results. Nothing helps. I even try creating my newsletter in the wee hours of the morning thinking there might be a traffic problem. I've tried it on an older computer and my brand new fast computer. Still the same slow and error filled results. Any answers to this? I pay a lot to have this service and it feels like it's failing. Anyone else having this problem? Thank you.
Hello @CharityP ,
Have you had a chance to do any connectivity troubleshooting? Here are the basic steps you can perform / respond to, to make sure they're not the causes of site slowness on your end.
If none of these resolve your connectivity issues with our site, then we can perform more advanced troubleshooting. But we'll want to eliminate the above as potential issues first.
Hello @BarbaraJ34,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I do apologize that you are having connection errors. Have you tried to contact your internet service provider to see if they are having any issues at the moment? Also, are you currently on a home or work network?
I have tried 3 isp's with the same results. I am using a home computer. I have been with you for years and have never seen anything like this before. Is there something going on with the site that we need to know about?
Hello @BarbaraJ34 ,
We still haven't seen any interruption in our servers, based on our analytics. Would you be able to provide the name of your ISP and a screenshot of your speed test from fast.com, including the More Info section?
I am having the same problem. It is like dial up speed. I am trying to do an email with a lot of different elements for work. Small pictures but a lot of small text. It's going much slower than before. I haven't sent an email in a few months but this is unbearable. No other site I am on is slow like this. Is there anything I can do?

I have been having the same problems since about January (pre-COVID). I also have some major problems with formatting. Once I bold anything, I cannot get anything subsequent to un-bold. This has been an ongoing problem for probably 2 or more years. There are some other bugs, but the speed issues and the fact that my campaigns don't launch as scheduled or I have to keep trying to "continue" have been major issues for me. Several campaigns haven't sent because of these issues.
Hello @AshleighR2 ,
It sounds like your issues have more to do with the defunct, outdated legacy editor as noted in this thread.
Contact Contact is not working very slow
It gets frozen all the time...What's going on ? I am going to change my marketing software...
