What's included in "Other Apps?"

Hello! What is represented in the "Other Apps" number on our Contacts report? I'd like to get a clearer idea of where our email sign-ups are coming from. Thank you!

Hi @AJ1!

That's a great question! Other Apps are going to be 3rd Party Integrations, such as the applications that are found in our Apps Marketplace on the List Growth Tools page. If you have a 3rd party sign up form on your website, it will list as "Other App" on the Contacts page. Also, if you have our Facebook sign up form, it can show up as "Other App" for those contacts as well, same if you have the Outlook integration. If you call in to our phone support line, we can narrow down what the integrations are by the last usage date, if you need to break down the data by Contact Source. If you have any further inquiries about this, and other List Growth Tools questions, feel free to reach out!

Does this include social media? Is FB consider a 3rd party app?

I lined our "Sign Up" button on FB to our sign up for Constant Contact, and I'm looking to measure how many have signed up through that button.

You you have specifics that we can measure? Or should we go through FB instead?

Hello @BWCT. Contacts that join your list using the Constant Contact Facebook Sign-Up form will show under your contacts as "Other App." If you wanted to see what contacts were signing up by using the Facebook Sign-Up form, you can create a list specifically for Facebook sign-ups and edit your sign-up form settings so new contacts will be added to this list. Here is a link to our Help Center which will show you how to edit what list these contacts are being added to.
