I ran a campaign and mailed it to 65 close friends. These are people who open my emails. That said only 47% opened it, so I reached out to them individually. As it turns out, each responded and let me know the email had gone to their "Promotions" inbox or their SPAM inbox. This is unacceptable for a service that charges $45 a month to send emails and 47% go to peoples' SPAM. If this continues, I will be cancelling my subscription. David Greenapple
Thank you for reaching out to the Community.
I am more than happy to address your concerns. First, there are a number of reasons why an email may land in a Spam folder. In most cases this is due to content within the email that you send or tolerances on the receiving end. At any rate, I would be happy to take a look at the email in question to see if there is a content related Spam concern. Please send an email to social_support(at)constantcontact(dot)com with your Constant Contact username, the name of the email in question and a reference to this post and we’ll hop into your account and take a look. If it is easier for you, please feel free to give us a call to discuss. Click Here for our contact information.
Next, I want to briefly go over the promotions folder. As Constant Contact is an email marketing program our emails may be considered promotional in nature. That said, please Click Here for some more information on these folders and what your contacts can do to manage them.
I sure do hope that this helps but please let us know if you have additional questions. Thank you for using Constant Contact, have a great rest of your day!
