Hi!
I'm using a Sent Email as a Landing Page. I'm directing people to the url link that gets created when you send an email in Constant Contact.
My question is could I have added 2 code snippets onto this email? I want to measure how many people click on the download button that is in the email url. So I need to add Google's global site tag and the event snippet to the page/email.
I sure appreciate your help!
Thanks,
Scott...
Hello @BartS38 ,
You can definitely add your own coded tracking links, as we are compatible with Google Analytics.
For your purposes, I'd recommend making a copy of your email-LP so you can edit the links, if you've already sent it out. You'll want to use Google's campaign url builder to generate the properly formatted link. Once you have those coded links and your event's snippet included in the copy, go ahead and just send that email to a list of just yourself, then you can use the permanent email link as a landing page url.
