click rate versus open rate

Hi!

Can someone explain the different between click rate and open rate?  I haven't found anything that simply explains it.

THANKS!

Deb

Re: click rate versus open rate

Hi @FOCVNWR

We would be happy to help clarify this for you! The difference between the two is one is focused on your contacts interaction with your URL links, while the other is simply who opened your email. The click rate on an email reporting is the number of times links are clicked in your email by your contacts. On the other hand the open rate is the percentage of contacts who opened your email compared to how many contacts were sent the email. Do these descriptions help you understand the different better?
