constant contact is taking email address as a single column to identify duplicates but if all the columns are considered that row is not a duplicate how do i ask constant contact to check whole record instead of single column


Hello, If an email address for a contact in your spreadsheet already exists in your Constant Contact account, we update that contact with any new information from your spreadsheet to prevent duplicate contacts. The updates are made at the contact level, so if you import to:

  • An Existing List - The contact is updated and new contacts are added to the list.
  • A New List - The contact is updated and stays on the existing list, and then also gets added to the new list along with the rest of the new contacts from your spreadsheet.
