deleting bounced emails

My reporting shows that I deleted bounces last month (Aug) but some of the same names bounced again this month (Sept). Why were they sent another email after I labeled them as "delete" but do not unsubscribe? It's keeping my bounces looking high. Please advise. Thank you, Melissa

Hello @PaulaS9394 ,

 

Did you re-import those same contacts at some point from the previous month, either through an integration sync or manual upload? Is there a particular reason you didn't unsubscribe them if they were bounces we recommended for removal?
