I understand that the legacy autoresponder series will stop running tomorrow. I have a new series created to replace it but don't want to start it until the existing series stops grabbing the new subscribers. Does anyone know if there is a hard-and-fast time thisi will happen?
Thanks.
Hello @JulieL34,
We don't have a set time, but I do believe this is something that will end right at midnight tonight.
So how will we know? Will there be an alert posted like they sometimes do on holidays? Or a warning banner across the screen on the autoresponder landing page?
Hello @JulieL34,
All of the legacy autoresponder series newsletters will revert to a done status.
Not clear what that means. I understood that the subscribers who are in the queue would still receive the rest of the series, so I'm wondering how I will now the difference between a series that is finishing but no longer grabbing new signups and a series that is running normally. Since no time has been officially specified and I don't know how strong your "belief" is that it will happen at midnight tonight. Also, what time zone would that midnight be in?
@Zoe_H, do you have an update on this? I was in a meeting tonight and the support lines were closed by the time I could have called in. It appears that our legacy auto responders are still running. I'm trying to plan for the switchover but it feels like a moving target. They did say this would happen on 8/9--do you think it will be midnight tonight???
Hi @JulieL34. I apologize that we were not able to follow up with you here in the Community but I see you spoke with our Support team about the best steps to take with activating your new series. I hope they were able to assist you fully. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
