When I go to print a Constant Contact email, it used to load a preview that would let me adjust the scale before downloading the pdf. Now I get the message "Looks like your browser doesn't have a PDF viewer." But I have not changed browsers. I'm using Firefox.
Hello @NeilG0 ,
Everything is pulling up okay in our Firefox print/download PDF displays at the moment. Do you know if your Firefox is 100% up-to-date? Another issue that might have cropped up is their browser or an extension dropping service to properly display PDFs, which may require updating.
Hi William,
Thanks for your message. My Firefox is up to date, I'm running version 77.0.1.
Can you explain what you mean by "Another issue that might have cropped up is their browser or an extension dropping service to properly display PDFs, which may require updating."? I do have two Firefox extensions running--Adblocker Ultimate and Cisco Webex Extension.
Thank you!
Hello @NeilG0 ,
Does disabling either of those add-ons, then exiting and re-entering Firefox allow you to see the pdf previewed?
No, unfortunately that has no effect.
In that case @NeilG0 , it may be best to reach out to Firefox to see if they have any advice or insight on what could be preventing PDFs from being displayed. Is this an issue in other browsers for you as well, like Chrome or Safari or Edge?
Without any intervention from me, the PDF Preview function now suddenly works in my Firefox browser. Conclusion, problem resolved on its own. Perhaps Firefox discovered and corrected the issue independently.
Hi @NeilG0
Thanks for giving us this update! We're happy to hear your PDF is displaying correctly for you.
