How do I resend to a client who wants to resubscribe if they accidently unsubscribed?

Hello @KeithN3,

 

The 'Awaiting confirmation' status means that they either you had 'confirmed opt-in' turned on, or the contact had previously unsubscribed and you sent them the resubscription email.  If someone does not respond to one of those two emails, it's generally considered the same as them opting out, or at least choosing to not opt back in.  If they fill out any integrated sign-up form with their information again, it should automatically resend a re-subscription request.  Otherwise, you would need to have an email from them, explicitly stating that they want to receive your future emails.  If you get that email from them, you can manually verify them through our Account Review Team.

Good Afternoon, I'd like to add back the email sre102@hotmail.com.  It's still awaiting confirmation and the person tried to update her profile but her email will not be accepted.

To do a manual override of the unsubscription, you'll need to speak directly with our Review team. Due to the legal and compliance nature of unsubscribing, we need to go through a process to ensure that contacts who unsubscribe from you, do in fact want to start receiving emails again. 

 

For starters, make sure you have an email from the contact saying they'd like to be resubscribed or that they want to receive your emails. Once you have that email, call into our Review team, and they'll provide further instructions from there.
