I'm new to CC.  When a name shows as "subscribed" how does it get on a list?

Depending on how you manage your contacts, a subscribed contact could be on a list for a number of reasons:

• An account manager or the owner has explicitly added them to that list through an import or the dashboard via moving or segmentation
• The contact added themselves to a list through a sign up form or the update profile form
• The contact clicked a link with click segmentation

If you need to, you can move contacts in bulk, in and out of lists as needed when logged in as an account manager or the owner. You can also edit specific contacts' list memberships.

Please keep in min that only subscribed contacts can be on lists, since unsubscribed contacts cannot be on lists for sending for legal and Compliance reasons.
