resends not being sent despite multiple attempts disappointed

Hello @MOCDS ,

 

Can you provide any elaboration on what's occurring when you attempt to resend? Are you getting any specific error messages? Were the emails you're attempting to resend setup for automatic Resend to Non Openers at time of scheduling or after, or were you attempting to do a different type of resend? If it was an email that'd already sent, and wasn't originally setup for an automatic RSNO, was your resend attempt within 3 days of the original sendout?

I have the same problem. Resend error saying I already send the email a second time to non-openers. But I've never received confirmation that the resend went out and reporting on the campaign is as if there were never a resend.

Did you previously resend the affected email to newly added contacts on the date specified in the Resend-to-Non-Openers failure pop-up, or at any other point, prior to selecting the RSNO option? Did you originally have the email setup for RSNO while initially scheduling it to sendout, or have you only attempted RSNO after the email was sent?

Did you previously resend the affected email to newly added contacts on the date specified in the Resend-to-Non-Openers failure pop-up -- I never received a failure pop-up and never received a confirmation of the resend. We did not add new contacts between the two sends. 

 

or at any other point, prior to selecting the RSNO option? - Around the time of the resent, CC site said my chosen resend time was invalid but when I tried to resend with a 'valid' date/time it said the message was already resent.

 

Did you originally have the email setup for RSNO while initially scheduling it to sendout, or have you only attempted RSNO after the email was sent? Originally set up RSNO at initial campaign scheduling.

Thank you for confirming that info. I've added those notes to your existing case, and submitted it to the engineers for further review. If and when they have an update regarding the issue, they'll notify you directly.

 

In the meantime, for this particular email, you'll need to make a list from the non-openers, copy the email, then send the copied email to that non-opener list.

 

Please let us know if the issue persists (especially if it's consistently) with future emails of yours, and how many days after the initial sendout the automated RSNO was scheduled for.
