selecting 75 emails at a time for campaigns

selecting 75 emails at a time for campaigns,  why can't I highlight one, go down 75 emails, hit shift key to check all the boxes ?   Do I actually have to manually click the box beside each email instead?   This can't be, so I must not be doing something right.

Not all websites and programs operate in a way that functions with a Shift-select akin to a Files / My Computer type program. Our website is not coded in such a way as to be compatible with that key-click combination.

That's weak!   What a waste of time having to click each box.
