spaces around special characters

I am using French in a button, and I am getting spaces before and after the letters using accents. How do I get rid of these?

Hello @SureWerxMarketing ,

 

Sorry that the call-to-action button isn't displaying your text correctly. When looking at your campaign that is in draft the blue button I see written as, ‘Téléchargez le PDF’. The spaces do not appear for me like what is shown in the image you attached here. Another option if this is still appearing for you is to create an image of the button with the text written as it should be. Then insert the image in place of the button, from there you can link the image to the correct button destination.

It looks fine when I'm creating the email and in preview, it's when the email is sent that the spaces show up.

 

There have been issues in the past with the same problem, even when done in English.

I will have to create an image moving forward if this can't be solved.

Hi @SureWerxMarketing thanks for clarifying this! We have seen some text copied and pasted from an outside source can carry over problematic formatting that in some cases can cause extra spacing to appear. Does this extra spacing still appear after following the steps in this Help Center article on how to remove problematic formatting?
