survey issue

We have a survey live at the moment, it is getting lots of responses but a number of customers are getting a message saying that 'they have already completed the survey' and cant respond.  I have selected the option that does not limit multiple responses from the same computer,.

Anyone have any thoughts?

You can have the second person take the survey anonymously and this should allow them to complete it.

 

If the issues persists, please  call support and we can look deeper into the issue with you.

I am having the same problem.  I don't understand what your answer means when you say,

That's a great question. Essentially, if you are passing the email through a mail merge system, the system will recognize that the link from that email has already been utililized and will trigger the error message. In this scenario, it is best to send to each individual recipient through Constant Contact or utilize the Survey URL, however, those responses will come back anonymous. I am having the same issue. i have sent a survey to 9 school principals utilizing the survey url only. I sent it in an email in outlook. then each principal forwarded this email onto all  his class teachers.... One school is reporting this survey error message., that says ' you have already completed the survey ????

If one person was able to fill out the survey, and all the others received that error, it usually means that they didn't share the original URL.  If someone follows the link that you provided, it actually redirects them to a dynamic URL that is unique to each individual who takes the survey.  Since you stated that only one of your schools is having this problem, it sounds likely that the principle followed the link you provided, and then forwarded on their unique survey URL, instead of the actual link you provided.  If you look at the end of the URL, the correct one will end with /start.  If it ends with /questions, then you know they copied their personal survey link instead.
