terrible open rates

Out of 79 emails, only one was opened?? I sent them out at optional times and to group-specific people. This is frustrating and very discouraging. After all this time and work, almost nothing has been benefitted from this service..I'm considering quitting Constant Contact.

Hello @FredZ91 ,

Was the list you sent to targeted in any specific way? Are these contacts that have regularly opened your emails before, or have shown previous engagement with your material? When you sent out the email, did you go through all the Deliverability best practices?

Hi @FredZ91. Looking at your email reporting, every contact except one (coincidentally, the one that opened your email) share the same private domain. The email is also one large image which is highly likely to be picked up by spam filters. Both of these criteria means that it's possible your email was blocked by their ISP. The best way to make your email deliverable is to create an email that has a good ratio of text to image and avoid image-only emails. Most of your emails appear to be image only which has a negative impact on deliverability. Taking the time to create an email that has a mix of text and images can help your email land in the inbox.
