text doesn't show up for one particular customer

Regarding a message I recently sent to customers, one of them couldn't see the text or the social media icons at the bottom; all he could see was the blue background of the message. Is there a setting he could change that would fix this problem? All other customers (that I know of) could see the message just fine.

Hello @TammyT41 ,

 

Is the customer allowing images and other elements to display in their email program? Some email programs require manually confirming the display / downloading of images in order for them to come through, especially if they're using an Outlook program.
