using code with templates for customisation

Is there a way to access the source code to further customise elemnts such as text within an email template, therefore not having to code an entire email from scratch?

Hi @First-NameL05323,

Thanks for asking about this! While there's not currently a way to access the html code for email campaigns in our Third-Generation Editor, every email template is customizable. Is there something specific regarding the text that you'd like to be able to customize? Please let us know! Nonetheless we're collecting feedback from customers about having access to the source code and I have submitted yours.

Hi Nichelle,

Thanks for your reply. It's more things like being able to adjust the weight of the font (beyond jut bold) and the leading or line spacing, and more specialised things like that. Being a design company, we need our email collateral to directly reflect our brand and are not currently able to achieve this without getting an outside party to custom code our emails for us.

I have been able to combine small amounts of coding within an email template editor like yours with other providers, however we would prefer to use Constant Contact due to good past experiences.

Hi @First-NameL05323. Thanks for that information! I can definitely understand how important a consistent design is for a business. I'll send over your feedback to our Product team.
