It would be really helpful to have the option to tag a group of individuals that registered or attended an event through constant contact. The same way you can check off individuals to change their attendance status, I would like to have that option, but to add a tag.
I have a client who hosts events with multiple sessions and requires an internal approval process to accept vendors and participants. It would be great if we could add tags to the "Status" dropdown menu to help track approvals, session RSVPs and actual sessions attended. We have chosen to stick with Constant Contact Events rather than moving to Eventbrite because it better meets the client's needs. The ability to add options and tags in Events would be a great service to clients who are truly committed to using the product.
We do not have plans to introduce a tagging feature in the current version of our Event tool. There are plans to introduce a more advanced Event tool in the future but we cannot guarantee this request will be present in it. If we hear anything in the future regarding this feature request, we will update the thread.
What process does CC suggest for not sending promotional emails to contacts that have already registered for an event. For example, if you have an event that you are planning on sending 4 promo emails for, after the first email you have 20 contacts signed up that you don't want to receive further emails about signing up.
At the moment I am just exporting then importing the list before every email. Is this the best practice based on CC's offerings?
