Background Colors

I would like to be able to do a text box. I would like to be able to choose background colors for text boxes. I would like my work to get saved automatically every 5 minutes or so. I switched from to Constant Contact recently and am disappointed that these are not offered. I could do all of this in.

I want the ability to edit some button properties in my template. Specifically, the button’s background color and the placement of the button in the template (left/center/right aligned).

We recently released a global color capability in the editor.  All new templates support the global color mapping.  Pleaes give it a try!

Changing the overall color scheme of the email is not an option, and I'm having difficulty editing text colors.

Thanks for the feedback! Have you tried using the "Colors" tab on the right side of the screen?

I think this may solve your issue. You can drag and drop any color chip from this tab onto your email template to adjust colors:

I've been using CC since 2007 and this "editor" leaves a lot to be desired. I just accidentally deleted a block of text, and there's no way to undo. I don't see a way of globally setting colors and fonts. Really, it's a mess. Do not put this version into production - you'll have plenty of people leaving CC for a competitor!!
