Can no longer rename sent emails ("campaigns") ???

So now (unless I'm missing something I've spent 15 minutes looking for on the site and in the forums) it is no longer possible to rename sent email campaigns? Why would developers remove something so useful and widely used ???

Hi Denis,

Thanks for adding your thoughts. I am happy to submit your ideas on this topic. I understand how the email name field might be hard to see when you are working in your email but just to clarify, it is editable until the email is sent. The field appears at the top of the template and can be clicked in to edit.

Thanks again for your perspective,

I too would like to have the ability to change the name of a sent email.  All reasons have already been stated as well as the fact that this seems to be a small change, should not be that complicated?

Please add another vote in favor of adding a new feature to enable editing the name of an email after it has been sent.  The name is certainly not the unique value used to associate other data with the email (in a relational sense) so there is no good reason to restrict making changes to the name.  The existing user interface could be used, with a restriction (in edit mode) to only allow the name to be changed (and potentially other fields that would not otherwise affect reporting or other functionality). As an alternative, the edit option from "My Emails " under "Current Work" could simply go to a new form where only the email name (and potentially other fields) could be changed.

The resources required to address this issue should be no more than one developer for one to three hours.  If the change is limited to just the name field, even the QA process should not be more than an hour, as there is almost nothing to test.

I would love an option to rename an email already sent. It would be very helpful to me!!

Hi Cathy. I have let our email product managers know that you would like this feature. I can definitely see where it would be useful.

Yes, please add the feature of being able to change an email name! I never saw how to edit the name and I was shocked to find it could not be changed after mailing. Changing the name in Draft mode is pretty difficult to figure out (I had to do a Google search for conversations to find it).

Hi Diana,

Thanks for your feedback, I'm happy to pass it along.

Do you have any ideas for how to make the "name" option more visable? Did you not notice it in this location or were you not sure that you could click there to edit? I would love to pass along any more details!

Thanks,

I, too, would appreciate the ability to change the name of a previously sent email.  Seeing as it wouldn't change anything related to the content of the message or its recipients, I can't imagine why this would be something that would have to be final.

The edit after sending would be useful mostly for our own identification and organization purposes.  I think it's easy to imagine many situations in which a working title is no longer helpful, and it would be best to rename the email for classification.

IMO, this would actually be the most helpful improvement you could make right now!  Thank you.
