Show which contacts were previously unsubscribed upon import

When uploading a new email list, it will tell you the number of contacts that unsubscribed however it won't tell you exactly which contacts/email addresses. It would be very helpful for it to automatically show you which contacts they were because right now I have to manually search 218 contacts to find out which 4 are on the unsubscribed list which is a HUGE waste of my time.

A rep informed me that Constant Contact removes all unsubscribers from all lists however there is no way of knowing what list it was removed from. This reporting is critical for us and was one of the reason we separated our lists. Now we have to check the unsubscribe emails with all of our contacts to see what list it came from. It would be nice if you added a column in the reporting to show the list that the user unsubscribed from.

I just completed District Training for Rotary and told all the attendees they would be receiving a followup email with the links to the resources. When I uploaded the list, it said One contact was un-subscribed and could not be added. I NEED to know WHO that contact is so that I can call them and tell inform them proactively why they are NOT receiving the requested material. How do I find out which person this is?

Thanks for posting. Unfortunately there is not a way to see who this one person is during the import process. You can, view and export your unsubscribed list to compare if you would like. I know this is not ideal so I apologize for the frustration. Please continue to leave feedback on features you would like to see implemented!

When we update our contacts by groups, and lets say 1/3 of those contacts were unsubscribed so they did not update, a list of those contacts that did not update in the system and the reason why would sure be helpful so we can remove them from other sources. Constant Contacts is not our only database, we have spreadsheets of contacts that we also maintain. If a contact will not be given admittance to the CC database we should be given a report of who and why.

Sometimes when we upload specific lists (VIP donors, invitations, etc.) we need to know if someone has already unsubscribed so we can alert them that they won't be getting the information they need via email. I see that the activity page shows the number of unsubscribes on a given upload but it would be AWESOME if we could click on the number and get a list of the names. Thanks!
