Would like Birthday emails

Can you please add a way where we can enter contacts' birthdays and have a birthday email automatically go out to them on their birthdays? Or at least create a way where we can send out birthday messages simply without having to create a custom list for each day?

Sorry but we still do not offer a date based autoresponder.  This method is still the best option for implementing it.

The automated email feature (especially birthday and anniversaries) would be huge for our company and add substantial value to constant contact.  Has any progress been made in this area?

This is something on our road map for the future but I do not have a time frame as to when this would be added.

I am forced to send out monthly greetings.  The open rate isn't that hot (27%). 

 

When I tried sending it out on the day of the event ( my kid was out of school and that was her job) the open rate was about 90%

 

I agree this would be a killer feature.  

 

As far as the road map goes, I image its a pretty long road at this point.

Mailchimp has this feature btw. You can design a sign-up form where people sign up by entering their birthday. Sure would like to see this in Constant Contact.

You can certainly add a field to your sign up form here as well.  Its acting on it automatically that causes the problem.

Is there any word on this ever being implemented? My company manages several businesses with around 7,500+ contacts, we're severely limited when it comes to the autoresponder capabilities.

 

This thread was started over two years ago with the first customer saying that it had been a year since he had heard anything. By my count three years is a little long to be reviewing something that CLEARLY most customers would want. I've given up that this will ever be addressed, but I might be shopping around to see if someone else DOES have the autoresponder features I need.
