ability to add a forward to friend in emails

I created an email using card/announcement and when I tried to add "forward to a friend", "join my mailing list" and permission reminder" I was not able. I would like to have the ability to use these functions in future emails that I create.

Hi everyone! I am following up to the forward to friend feature request. Thank you for your patience as we looked into this! The good news is we have received word from our engineers that feature is now available in our cross device templates under the social share block. If anyone has any additional questions on this, please don’t hesitate to respond to this post as we would be happy to assist you further.

Forward to Friend is an important feature needed in CC.  The free version of has had it for some tome.

I am trying to put together an email and I need the "Forward to a Friend" button.  I cannot seem to find it the build tab.

Hello @TMSManager,

That feature is currently only available in our Legacy templates.  I've added you to the feature request, to have that brought into our newer Third Generation editor as well!  If you do have access to Legacy templates, the option should appear when you have any block open, in the 'insert' section along the left side of the page.

hello,

i am considering switching from our organization's current email/newsletter service to constant contact, and i've been playing around with the templates.

a question: is it possible to have a button at the top of our newsletter for easy email forwarding?

when our current newsletter recipients forward a newsletter to a friend, sometimes that friend unsubscribes the original sender. we are looking to have a button at the top of the newsletter than enables simple forwarding that doesn't expose our current subscribers to deletion.

peace to you and all, d

Hello @darshanc7,

Thank you for bringing that excellent suggestion to us here in the community!  Currently there is not a way to add a separate forward button to the top of an email like you're requesting, but I do see we've gotten a similar feature request before.  I'll definitely add your account to that request!  If you have any other ideas on how we can improve the product, definitely let us know, and we'll be happy to pass those on as well!

Yes, please add the Forward option back! I send our existing newsletter to potential subscribers to show them what it's like; I've just changed to a new email template and discovered today that I can't forward it. Very frustrating. :-(

@Bio-Mechanics_Cycles,

We will be sure to submit that feedback for you. In the meantime, your recipients can still use the forward option with their email client, to send your emails to their contacts.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions!

Hi Amber,

Thanks for passing the feedback on. I know my recipients can forward it; it's just not much help to me when I want to send it to prospective subscribers.

I mentioned this in another thread, so apologies if you're reading it twice.
A help answer from a CTCT person just a few days ago said it is there; no mention of having to be on the third generation editor.
