I created an email using card/announcement and when I tried to add "forward to a friend", "join my mailing list" and permission reminder" I was not able. I would like to have the ability to use these functions in future emails that I create.

Hi everyone! I am following up to the forward to friend feature request. Thank you for your patience as we looked into this! The good news is we have received word from our engineers that feature is now available in our cross device templates under the social share block. Thank you for replying back. I responded to your mention on the other thread. The "Forward to a Friend" functionality is only available on the Legacy template. At this time, the Third Generation editor does not include this functionality. I hope this information has helped. Let me know if you have any additional questions.
How can this new version be considered for release without a forward button? This is essential to my newsletters. **bleep**?
I do apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. The reason why the "Forward to a Friend" option was left out of the new editor was because of its low usage. Also, we have improved the ability for our templates to maintain formatting/consistency when simply just using the forward the email option located in the email clients. I have however, tracked this feature request to your account to notify our developers. Again, I do apologize for the inconvenience.
Does anyone know if the ability to let your subscribers forward the email to their friends has been discontinued? I can't find it anywhere in the 3rd generation editor.
This feature is one significant one that has kept me using Constant Contact, since at least (I haven't checked how many others) only send a link to the web version when you forward the email. Constant Contact's big advantage, from my perspective, with regard to this, was that it actually forwarded the email itself, not forcing the receiver to click a link to even see what is being sent to them. Also, I suspect that just sending the link would cause many forwards to be filtered as possible spam.

I have been asked to indicate if any of the answers are "accepted solutions". I guess in one sense I could say that telling me the feature is GONE in the 3rd generation is an answer, but an accepted solution? Not really. All email service providers I know of provide a forwarding feature in one form or another. What I have liked about the one in constant contact is that it actually forwards the email, rather than a link to it.
I understand that you find it is rarely used, but the lack of providing a forwarding option just makes it look like we don't care whether our subscribers become "popularizers" of our campaigns. Everyone knows this is a standard feature of emails.
I do apologize this is not currently an available feature. I completely understand that this is an important option for you to have in your email campaigns. Since I have tracked this feature request in your account, you will be notified when this becomes available.
