National Small Business Week is here, but we want to keep the celebration going all month!

This week is a great opportunity to pat yourself on the back and relish the success! At Constant Contact, we love seeing small businesses and nonprofits succeed and we want to hear about your triumphs. What fist pumpin’ experiences have you had this year?

How to Enter: Share your success story by posting a reply to this article. We want to hear about your victories, big or small, in the last year that have helped you grow confidence in your business or organization.

Some topic ideas, for example:

  • A marketing campaign or other activities that contributed strong growth to your business
  • A positive customer experience
  • Any progress made toward your nonprofit goals
  • A new or updated physical store location or office expansion

But wait, there’s more! Share an anecdote specifically about how Constant Contact has helped your business and earn an additional entry to the Sweepstakes! Make sure to clearly define the start of this anecdote so it isn’t intermingled with the main entry.

But wait, there’s even more! Share the permalink URL of your reply on this sweepstakes article on Twitter with the hashtag #sbss and earn another entry to the sweepstakes!

Where to find the permalink: When viewing your reply on the official thread, click on the three dots in the top-right corner and right-click on the “Permalink” option. A window will pop up where you can select “Copy link address.” Voilà! Sharing the permalink in your tweet will allow us to track who tweeted what. We appreciate it!

So, I am a sugar artist, and I decorate and sell sugar cookies. I use my website to not only make contact with customers but also to connect with other cookie decorators. I have desired to go nonprofit to help women worldwide overcome sexual/physical/emotional abuse. Yesterday, I signed my nonprofit registration papers & they have been mailed to the state. It feels like a massive victory to me!

Dear Constant Contact,

I am an office manager at Safety-Med Products, Inc. which is a small business in Burlington, WI that supplies and manufactures a variety of PPE and infection control products to hospitals, nursing homes,  government entities, and to the general public. Safety-Med enrolled with Constant Contact last year and I will say the ease of signing up and using the templates has been a success for us. Maybe not so much on an ROI standpoint, but we are gaining ground with new subscribers, customers, and more and simply bringing awareness to our brand.

We have been very successful with email campaigns for back to school, product specials, and our company newsletters which have had the most successful open rates. Having access to these CC reports has been crucial for Safety-Med to get our brand name out there and also, allowing us to see what is working with our emails that are sent, and what is not. These reports also help us to see where we were, are, and can be, by utilizing these tools.

Also, the trainings have helped us to learn the best practices for sending campaigns and automated emails to our subscribers and potential customers. Tools such as these webinars offered are invaluable to any small business such as Safety-Med. We plan to utilize more of the functions with CC and look forward to see how the progress pans out and see what growth will occur for our business.

Thank you for all your company does to support small business.

Sincerely,

Melissa E.

I am a Realtor in SW Florida- there are thousands of us! I use Constant Contact to stand out from the crowds by sending a monthly highly personalized email campaign to my whole database. I started by using CC's templates and have gradually personalized it but I'm always looking at CC's new features and adding functionality. Now I'm looking at the  new animated template design & thinking that would be a super fun add  Thanks CC for helping me stand out...

Dear Constant Contact,

I am the Resource Developer for Independence Center, we are a non-profit organization and our mission is to enhance the quality of life, to promote independent functioning and to facilitate personal growth for adults with a history of mental illness.  To achieve this, we provide ongoing social, educational, vocational, and housing opportunities. The most common disorders our Members are faced with include bi-polar disorder, major depressive disorder, anxiety disorder, and schizophrenia, or other psychotic disorders.

We also offer crisis intervention at our Living Room Wellness Center, which provides a safe comfortable, environment where skilled Support Specialists provide crisis intervention referrals and other needed services for people experiencing a crisis due to mental illness.  We offer free-of-charge peer counseling, person-centered safety and crisis planning, as well as basic needs like healthy food, clean showers, and transportation.

Constant contact is an essential tool which helps us communicate to our members, donors and community about current issues and articles about mental health awareness.  In fact this month is Suicide Prevention Awarement Month and we sent out an email campaign with articles about prevention, links to resources and updates about our services. We are gaining ground with new subscribers, donors, and more and simply bringing awareness to our cause. We would not be able to achieve this without the constant contact platform.

Using Constant Contact, I’ve been able to drive more users to purchase directly from my site. I am a quilt pattern designer and my website had previously focused more on my teaching adventures. I’ve switched the focus to a shop, teaching platform and resources. Then I started Chappell Chats, my newsletter. I’m so glad I finally took the plunge!

I work as the customer service manager for a small business called Spectrum Illumination. The business was started by my father out of my family's basement over 20 years ago now. Since I came on board the company 5 years ago, I've learned so much about marketing, branding, etc. Constant contact has helped me create professional emails and social media posts. In the last 30 days or so I've grown our LinkedIn followers by almost 50. Considering we started this year with right around 100 I consider that a pretty big win. I've also been using canva a program now partnered with constant contact to create a lot of the images used in the emails and posts.

Hello,

I write weekly newsletters for Sweetgrass Development, an economic development organization in north central Montana. Our office is in Great Falls and our mission is to improve quality of life and strength of communities in the Blackfeet Nation, the Little Shell Tribe, Cascade County, Glacier County, Pondera County, Teton County, and Toole County. We use Constant Contact to promote local business & events while collecting grant deadlines, business webinars, and other useful information to save as many steps as possible for business owners who are often juggling more than one responsibility.

This is why we were so thrilled to see an email from a local business owner after our December 1, 2020 email saying that he and his colleague applied for funding from the U.S. Small Business Administration after reading and getting a reminder. This is just one example; we also had multiple contacts reach out for business technical assistance because they saw our emails!

One of our top priorities during the ongoing pandemic has been to keep information moving. Seeing others be able to use this information to find the support they need has brought us hope and confidence in our mission exactly when we needed it.

Thanks to Constant Contact, we know that we can keep our business communities in the loop and on track to succeed and bring prosperity to the people who live here.

Regards,

Hi CC!

Even though I'm a gym/fitness studio I've been able to stay open in a very cautious part of the county (PNW) by having outdoor classes. One of my newer clients is a firefighter/paramedic and just went through a physical test to apply for a new station. It was his best performance ever!! The tester told him he's probably in the top 5% of physical shape for firefighters in the area. We are so proud of him!!

Also, a recent email I sent out to our wider general mailing list got a couple clients back who haven't been working out in a while. It was so great to see their smiling (and sweaty....haha) faces again!!

Dear Constant Contact,

We have been successfully rallying the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community and Sign Language Interpreter Community in speaking up about the need to deal with the Sign Language Interpreter shortage in Missouri that is getting to the point where sign language interpreting agencies, like Signing Edge, are struggling to cover all of their interpreter requests.    We believe that our engagement with the community is a turning point that will positively impact communication access for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Missourians who depend on sign language to communicate with the world.

As an "essential business" constant contact has been a great way to stay in touch with our customers to let them know we were open and here to help during the past year and a half. In the beginning of the pandemic we could not physically see anybody, but through constant contact they new we were open for all of there needs. Thanks to Constant Contact our small business stayed open and we remain hopeful for the future.

Team Church is a very SMALL ministry designed to help SMALL churches in SMALL communities.  The ministry has a SMALL support TEAM with a LARGE heart.  While desiring to communicate with the TEAM we do a "monthly" (when I can get it done) newsletter.  It has been a real challenge to put one together that was truly communicating our desire to serve the Lord.  Black and white is of course the mainstay of most communication these days.  However, color is the eye catcher.  Constant Contact took our plain newsletter and converted it into a new dimension of communication.  I am so grateful for all of their help and wisdom in designing a way to TELL THE STORY OF TEAM CHURCH.  If you have a need to communicate any story--use Constant Contact.

The Heart of a Woman is a small business format for me as an author and copywriter for the Christian Markets.  I have written five books but our most recent book was written by four authors (including me) about navigating the Alzheimer's journey. All four of us have experienced the loss and tragedy of Alzheimer's in our mothers. We share poignant stories in "Hell No I Don't Remember, I Have Alzheimers!" and the book was published September 1, 2021. We are excited about the reception and it has been selected as the Featured Book for November with The Creative Catalyst marketing group. We are looking forward to what this year will bring.  Beth Withers Banning - www.writerswhocare.com

Hey there,

We are Doggy Pro Shop!!! I am the CEO Mattia, I am opening a company selling dog products this coming week! I started my small business after going through a very traumatic experience. My French Bulldogs helped me through that awful experience. I felt like I knew I had to provide them with an amazing life. So I created Doggy Pro Shop, where I will have the opportunity to give them that life. I have truly put my all into this company. Our website WWW.DOGGYPROSHOP.COM is going to BOOM!!!! You won't want to miss it  We are so excited. Constant contact has been a great marketing tool for me. Great ideas & templates.... all of it is amazing. Thanks to your amazing system, we are able to update and market to our pup-stomers all over the world! It's really an amazing tool. We are grateful and thankful to be considered.
